Objective. In this field extension, Energia Tejas has discovered three oil reservoirs and is drilling horizontal wells in these reservoirs with its working interst partner, O'Brien Energy Company - Shreveport, LA. These wells target two Rodessa (Gloyd) coquina limestones found oil productive over a 22,000 acre area. The Gloyd section averages 150 ft. thick. There are several porous beds in the Gloyd, three of which have been found oil productive. The oil column is greater than 800 feet.
Stratigraphic Trap. As of Q3 2016, there are 19 of horizontal wells producing more than 4,100 boe per day from this field extension. The oil-bearing gloyd reservoir is a blanket deposit throughout the 24,000 acrea AMI. All the Gloyd penetrations in the reservoir are oil-productive over a span of nine miles east to west and four miles north to south. Since dileneation began in 2013, 43 MMBOE of proven reserves have been discovered in the Rodessa.
